Sedierung Grundmodul

Description

The Sedierungskurs is developed according to the S3 guideline "Sedierung in der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie" and the corresponding DEGEA curriculum for endoscopy nursing and assistance personnel. This event is suitable for all medical and non-medical staff from various fields who are daily involved in sedation.

Target Group

The target group for this program includes medical and non-medical personnel from different specialties who are responsible for sedation on a daily basis.

Course Format

The course is a presence seminar, led by instructors Kai Langlotz and Haakon Dammann, and lasts for 3 days.

Dates

The course is offered on the following dates:

• 10.02. - 12.02.2026
• 24.11. - 26.11.2026

Objective

The objective of this course is to qualify personnel in analgosedation in cardiological and endoscopic functional departments. The treatment team will be able to recognize and adequately treat complications such as too deep sedation, hypercapnia and apnea, hypoxia, or cardiodepression in patients.

• Monitoring after sedation
• Documentation and quality assurance
• Legal aspects
• Simulation on the Human Patient Simulator (HPS)

Participation Fee

The participation fee is waived for Charitť employees.
