Certifications

To obtain research accreditation for university faculty, a certificate of directed doctoral theses is required, as specified by the Agency for the Quality of the University System of Catalonia (AQU Catalunya). This certificate must contain the following information:

• Title and reading date of the thesis
• Name and surname of the doctor
• Name and surname of the thesis director
• Qualification obtained
• Quality mention of the program in which the thesis is enrolled

The certificate can be requested through a ticket, including the following data:

• Name and surname
• NIF/NIE/passport number
• Names of the authors of the theses directed

The issuance period for certifications is seven working days. Once the document has been issued and electronically signed by the Doctoral School, it will be attached to the request ticket.
