Digital EDI Badge - Training Initiative

A new EDI training initiative is available for all UCD employees. Those who complete a minimum number of EDI eLearning and attend relevant EDI training will be awarded a specially designed Digital EDI Ambassador Badge. This badge can be displayed in email signatures and other media or documentation to demonstrate commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Conditions for Obtaining the Digital EDI Ambassador Badge

  • Employees must complete the 3 EDI eLearning courses listed as essential for the purpose of the digital badge initiative as part of the 4 required for Level 1.
  • Employees must attend a minimum of 1 face-to-face live training course during the qualifying period (virtual or in person).
  • Employees must ensure that they have viewed and completed the full eLearning courses (all parts/modules and all quizzes) so that the system registers them as "complete".
  • Employees must complete and submit their application via a designated form.
