UCD Hockey Youth Academy

Developing dedicated young athletes who are motivated to grow their game

The UCD Hockey Youth Academy aspires to develop dedicated young athletes who are motivated to grow their game. The coaching framework consists of current Irish International hockey players and top coaches from around the world who offer the most innovative and immersive coaching experience obtainable in Ireland.

Program Details

• The Academy is driven to test and explore players' abilities and is focused on developing specific game-based skills.
• Coaches are of extremely high quality, including Irish Senior Internationals, International and Provincial coaches.

JAN & FEB AFTER SCHOOL CAMP

• Dates: Wednesdays, January 14th, January 21st, January 28th, February 4th, February 11th
• Age: Junior School 4th to 6th Class, Secondary School 1st to 3rd year, Goalkeepers (all ages)
• Time: 16:30 - 18:00
• Cost: €150
• Dates: Fridays, January 16th, January 23rd, January 30th, February 5th, February 13th
• Age: Junior School 4th to 6th Class

FEBRUARY INDOOR CAMP

• Dates: 18th - 20th, 2026
• Age and Time:
  • 9:15am – 10:45am: 4th & 5th class & GKs
  • 10:45pm – 12:15pm: 6th class & GKs
  • 12:15pm – 1:45pm: 1st years & GKs
  • 1:45pm – 3:15pm: 2nd years & GKs
  • 3:15pm – 4:45pm: 3rd – 6th years & GKs
• Cost: €90
