Graduate Diploma in Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture

The UCD School of Archaeology's Graduate Diploma in Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture is a comprehensive 60-credit, 2-semester course of university learning and experience in experimental archaeology and material culture analysis.

Programme Details

• The programme exploits and builds upon the growing international reputation of UCD School of Archaeology's experimental archaeology research, teaching, and public outreach activities.
• A 90-credit, 3-semester MSc in Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture is also available.

• Online applications for the academic year 2026/2027 open on 1st October 2025.
• The closing date for 2026/2027 applications is 31st May 2026.
• Late applications may be considered.
