Master's Track Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions
The Master's track Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions (SUMT) is part of the EIT Urban Mobility Master School. The program focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship skills, in addition to urban mobility.
Degree Structure
Students need to pass at least 120 ECTS during the two-year study, with a focus on skills in urban mobility, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The program includes a minimum of four weeks of internship with an organization outside the university and a master's thesis.
Curriculum
The curriculum structure includes courses and a master's thesis, with a focus on scientific competencies, innovation, and feasibility. The thesis is evaluated by members of the evaluation committee, consisting of representatives from the entry university, exit university, and the company where the student is placed.
Graduation Project
The graduation project involves securing an appropriate placement at an urban mobility-related organization for a minimum period of eight weeks. The thesis topic should demonstrate the full range of key competencies gained during the program.
Track and Premaster Information
The ABP Master track SUMT is part of the EIT Urban Mobility Master School. No premaster is available for this track, but TU/e-Bachelor students with an interest in the field of Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions can follow packages such as Smart Mobility Design, Urban Systems, and Real Estate 2.
