Description

The objective of the MEAIC is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Arab and Islamic world, focusing on its culture, politics, and societies. Admission and Enrollment

Requirements

  • No specific undergraduate degree is required, but a background in social sciences and/or humanities is desirable.
  • Students must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of Spanish, as classes are taught in Spanish.
  • For non-native Arabic speakers, knowledge of Arabic is recommended.
  • For subjects taught in English or Arabic, students must demonstrate a B2 level of proficiency according to the European Framework of Reference.

The MEAIC enables students to pursue doctoral studies, particularly the Doctorado en Ciencias Humanas: Geografía, Antropología y Estudios de África y Asia at the UAM.
