Program Overview

The Kompletterande utbildning för läkare med utländsk examen från land utanför EU/EES och Schweiz (Supplementary Education for Doctors with Foreign Degrees from Non-EU/EEA Countries and Switzerland) is a program designed for doctors with foreign degrees.

Program Structure

• The program includes 16 weeks of Verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU) or workplace-based education, which is planned according to a special schedule based on the receiving clinic's possibilities.
• Each practice period is evaluated separately, with the student's clinical performance assessed according to an assessment template at the end of each rotation by a supervisor in collaboration with the course leadership.

Assessment and Evaluation

• The basis for the examination of the workplace-based practice consists of the student's handling of patients or patient cases.
• Particular attention is paid to the student's ability to take anamnesis and perform relevant status, as well as propose and discuss diagnoses, differential diagnoses, and treatment.
• Passing all rotations is required for the entire moment to be approved.

• Fördjupningskurs - kompletterande utbildning för läkare med utländsk examen (25.5 hp)
