Program Overview
The Bachelor of Computer Science (Game and Mobile Development) is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to develop innovative games and mobile applications. The program focuses on the creative aspect of software development, including gaming and mobile trends, and provides students with a solid foundation in computer science, programming, and software engineering.
Program Structure
To qualify for the award of the degree, students must accrue an aggregate of at least 144 credit points, which include core, elective, and general education subjects, as well as a final year project. The program is structured into three years, with each year comprising a range of core and elective subjects.

Capstone
The capstone project (CSIT321) is a 12-credit point subject that provides students with practical experience in complete systems development.

The program prepares students for various high-demand career paths in the entertainment industry, game and mobile industry, including graphic designer, multimedia programmer, mobile app developer, game developer, computer systems analyst, software developer, immersive technologies expert, and metaverse developer.

All degrees at the University of Wollongong in Dubai are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education and are licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The degree is also quality assured by UOW, which is registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the national regulator of the higher education sector in Australia.

Admission Requirements
Admission requirements vary depending on the type of high school curriculum followed. Students who have excelled academically at school and meet the advance entry requirements can finish their bachelor's degree in three years, instead of the existing four-year programs.
English Language Requirements
All classes are taught in English, and students must submit one of the following certificates of English language proficiency:
- IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall score of 6.0
- TOEFL (Internet-based) with a minimum overall score of 79
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum overall score of 54
Tuition Fees
The yearly fees for the program are AED 60,429 (USD 16,466), inclusive of 5% VAT. Note that yearly fees will vary depending on the number of subjects enrolled in.
Duration
The program duration is three years for students who meet the advance entry requirements, and four years for students who do not meet these requirements.
Classes Commencement
Classes commence in September (Autumn), January (Winter), and April (Spring).
Credit for Prior Learning
Students seeking advanced standing status must submit an official academic transcript showing all courses studied and grades achieved, syllabus details, and an explanation of the grading system.
Supporting Documentation
Students must provide supporting documentation, including an original or certified copy of their secondary school records, a statement or certificate of completion of secondary school, proof of English language proficiency, and a copy of their passport (and residence visa, if resident in the UAE).
Emirati Studies
Students must complete 6 credit points of General Education subjects in the area of Emirati Studies as part of the 144 credit points required for the program.
