Evolution of Islamic Political Thought

Course Overview

This course offers students a broad overview of classical and modern Islamic political thought. It presents the ideas of the influential Islamic political philosophers throughout history. The course explores various strands of Islamic political theories and investigates the diverse political thoughts and theories emerging in the Islamic world through the works of their main proponents.
