Master of Engineering Management (Blended Learning)

The Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program is offered by the College of Engineering (CoE) in collaboration with the College of Business. This program provides students with unique opportunities for advanced education in the field of engineering management, as well as opportunities for leadership growth at personal and professional levels.

Program Overview

The program curriculum consists of 10 courses (30 credit hours), of which 6 are engineering courses and 4 are business courses. Students can also opt to do a research project in lieu of one elective course. The program accepts students with a bachelor's degree in all engineering disciplines, architecture, computer science, or IT.

About the Program

The Master of Engineering Management program offers its students advanced education in the field of engineering management, focusing on advanced economics, quality management, and operations and supply chain management. It is an alternative to an MBA in Engineering Management, designed for engineers looking to improve their engineering education and acquire business and management skills.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelors Degree: Directly related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00-point scale, from an accredited university recognized by the UAE's Ministry of Education-Higher Education Affairs.
• English Language Proficiency Requirements: Official score report of international TOEFL (IBT) 79 or the ITP 550 (taken at Amideast) or the Academic IELTS 6.0 must be taken no more than two years prior to admission, or English EmSat minimum score of 1400 no more than 18 months prior to admission to Abu Dhabi University.
• International Students: Applications from students with a variety of bachelor degrees from an accredited university recognized by the UAE's Ministry of Education-Higher Education Affairs are welcome, upon successful completion of any required program foundation courses.
• Transfer Students: Postgraduate transfer students may apply for credit transfer for courses taken prior to joining Abu Dhabi University only once, when they first apply for admission.

Tuition Fees Structure & Calculation

• Abu Dhabi: AED 88,200 total fees, with a credit hour cost of AED 2,940 and required credits of 30.
• Dubai: AED 75,630 total fees, with a credit hour cost of AED 2,420 and required credits of 30.
