    • Description: Methods and tools for software engineering in safety-critical systems. This is a project-based course where students develop software for a safety-critical real-time system from requirements.
    • Topics: model-based design, hazard analysis, requirements tracing, real-time scheduling, code coverage analysis, coding standards, and formal verification.
    • Units: 3.50
    • Prerequisite(s): ELEC 271, ELEC 278 or MREN 178, ELEC 371
