Topics in Medieval Literature I

This course explores the representations produced by medieval travelers in the high and later Middle Ages. Students will analyze how medieval people wrote about ethnic differences and consider the discourses available to frame their experience of difference.


Prerequisites

  • ENGL 200
  • ENGL 290
  • A minimum GPA of 2.3 in 9.0 units of ENGL
