Program Overview

The University of Lisbon offers a Master's program in Social Interdisciplinary Research. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of social sciences and humanities, as well as the skills to conduct interdisciplinary research.


Admission Criteria

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences and Humanities, Life Sciences and Engineering, with a final grade of Good (14/20) or equivalent.
  • Hold a foreign academic degree recognized as satisfying the objectives of the Bachelor's degree by the course's scientific committee.
  • Have a curriculum vitae, scientific or professional, that demonstrates the capacity to complete the course, as recognized by the course's scientific committee.
  • Students with incomplete Bachelor's degrees may apply conditionally, provided they meet the requirements for obtaining the degree before the start of the Master's program.
  • All eligible applications will be evaluated based on an analysis of the CV and an interview to assess fluency in English.

The program awaits registration with the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES).
