Introduction to the Opernstudio M³nster Program
The Opernstudio M³nster is a program initiated by the Theater M³nster in collaboration with the Musikhochschule M³nster for the 2022/23 season. The primary objective of this program is to comprehensively support and qualify exceptionally talented young singers in the transition between vocal training and professional entry as opera singers. This profession requires not only musical education but also numerous other artistic and personal qualifications.
Program Structure and Benefits
The Opernstudio M³nster offers its members the opportunity to gain professional practice under the conditions of a professional opera business, accompanied by targeted teaching and support services from the Musikhochschule M³nster. Participants can engage in productions by the Theater M³nster, depending on their suitability, and undertake roles and study assignments. Additionally, the program provides the chance to train in audition situations under guidance and to develop digital application materials. Interdisciplinary projects, courses, and workshops on various themes complement the program's offerings.
