MASTER Transport, mobilites, reseaux : Data Supply Chain - (ISTELI)

The Data Supply Chain - (ISTELI) program is designed to train future executives in the fields of transportation (freight and passengers), logistics, and planning. The curriculum is multidisciplinary, with teachings in geography, law, economics, management, and English.

Presentation

The program provides conceptual bases in these subjects from the first year, where topics related to public transport and territorial planning are also addressed. The second year of the master's program continues in the specialties of freight and passengers, emphasizing both theoretical approaches and professional applications. Throughout the program, particular effort is made to articulate university requirements and professional expectations, notably through the intervention of professionals from various sectors.

The program is aimed at students with a BAC +5 level or higher.

Programme

The master's program (BAC +5) corresponds to 4 semesters and is validated by the acquisition of 120 ECTS credits. The program consists of teaching units distributed over the 4 semesters, each with one or more constituent elements. Each unit is assigned a number of ECTS credits.

M1 Transport, Mobilites, Reseaux : Data Supply Chain (DSI)

The M1 includes a mandatory internship and cannot be done in alternation.

M2 Transport, Mobilites, Reseaux : Data Supply Chain (DSI)

The M2 can be done in alternation, either through an apprenticeship contract or a professionalization contract. Two distinct courses are offered to alternating students: a Sorbonne course and a double Sorbonne - Isteli course.

Savoir-faire et competences

The skills developed by the program have to do with the functional and operational diagnosis of circulation networks, supply chains, and mobility systems. This involves learning to coordinate action plans and exploitation assessments, as well as implementing and evaluating effective circulation policies. A good understanding of situations and experiences conducted at different scales is necessary.

Dimension internationale

The Data Supply Chain - (ISTELI) program offers a field internship abroad. Additionally, student mobility is a priority at Sorbonne University, and students are encouraged to spend time at a foreign university as part of their training.

Candidatures en M1 : Recommended licenses:

• Geography, Economics, Management;
• Professional license Transport; Logistics; International Trade;
• Other licenses possible if the coherence of the project is demonstrated by the candidate.

The jury welcomes candidates returning to study. Selection is based on examination of the application file with attached documents. Main criteria:

• The candidate's ability to demonstrate motivation and highlight the coherence between their initial training and the TLTE training;
• Academic results;
• Clarity of expression of the research/professional project;
• Good command of one or more foreign languages.

Poursuite d'etudes

After completing the Transports, logistique, territoires, environnement (TLTE) program, students can pursue a doctoral thesis within Sorbonne University, following one of the master's training axes.

Insertion professionnelle

The TLTE program has a privileged vocational orientation at the Bac+5 level. The transportation, logistics, and mobility sector has experienced strong growth since the COVID-19 pandemic, offering a wide range of jobs. The TLTE program is a recognized talent pool for various recruitments, including:

• Logistics, particularly urban logistics and last-mile delivery;
• Transport with specific characteristics, such as temperature-controlled transport;
• Specialized companies in luxury, pharmaceuticals, and automotive;
• Active and passive mobility management for political and operational purposes, as well as associated development projects;
• Research, if the training is completed with a doctorate.
