Joint Project with Ecole Nationale Sup廨ieure d'Architecture et de Landscape de Bordeaux
The Tianjin University and the Ecole Nationale Sup廨ieure d'Architecture et de Landscape de Bordeaux have jointly established a bachelor's degree program in architecture (landscape architecture). The program was approved in 2014 and enrollment began in 2017. The project utilizes the advantages of the Tianjin University's School of Architecture and the Ecole Nationale Sup廨ieure d'Architecture et de Landscape de Bordeaux in architectural design, landscape architecture, and landscape planning. The program aims to cultivate outstanding talents with a sense of national pride, global vision, innovative spirit, and practical abilities. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a bachelor's degree in architecture, a bachelor's certificate, and international certification in landscape and spatial planning (CIEPT) from the Tianjin University.
Ecole Nationale Sup廨ieure d'Architecture et de Landscape de Bordeaux
The Ecole Nationale Sup廨ieure d'Architecture et de Landscape de Bordeaux is a public university in France, under the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. It is authorized to award bachelor's degrees in architecture, master's degrees in state architecture, and French national diplomas in landscape architecture (DPLG), as well as doctoral degrees in cooperation with other universities. The university is one of the three state-recognized universities and institutions that award the national diploma in landscape architecture (DPLG) and is the best university for landscape planning in France. Its graduates, Anne Lakaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal, were awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2021, the highest award in the field of architecture.
Program Details
The joint project integrates the disciplinary advantages of Chinese and French universities in the fields of architecture and landscape architecture, aiming to create a brand project for Chinese-foreign cooperative education. Currently, the program plans to enroll 20 students each year.
