Course Description

The NCS-4301 course provides an overview of the ethical challenges faced by individuals and organizations in the information age and introduces the complex and dynamic state of law as it applies to behavior in cyberspace. The course also highlights the risks and dangers of doing business in an interconnected world and provides understanding of how to ethically and legally operate and use modern computer systems and networks. The course introduces the entire lifecycle of security policy creation and development, including issue-specific policies in different domains of security. The course teaches students how to allocate the appropriate security techniques needed to satisfy a specific security policy in the context of real-life situations.
