Introduction to the Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality - Apprenticeship Programme for Emiratis
The Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality - Apprenticeship Programme for Emiratis is approved by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) and exclusively designed for UAE Nationals to pursue a successful career in Dubai's hospitality industry.
What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are work-study programmes that combine on-the-job training with a specific employer alongside related classroom instruction at college.
How it Works
Selected candidates are hired by a hotel partner in the UAE, who then sponsors the candidate to attend Dubai College of Tourism (DCT) to study the Diploma in Hospitality - Apprenticeship Programme for Emiratis. Candidates will split their time between being taught in the classroom at DCT (40% of the programme), and applying their learning and skills while at work at their partner hotel (60% of the programme), supervised by industry-appointed experts.

What Will You Learn
Students will have the unique opportunity to work in industry while also completing their studies. Through their academic studies, learners will be introduced to the hospitality industry in Dubai and then develop comprehensive knowledge of all the different areas of a hotel including:
- Front office operations
- Food and beverage management
- Housekeeping
- Revenue management
- Customer service skills Learners will have the opportunity to put theory into practice through their time in the hotel, and will be assessed in their practical capabilities as well as their academic knowledge. Additionally, this programme fosters global citizenship by developing professionalism, tolerance, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Eligibility
Any UAE National applicant who:
- Is at least 18 years of age.
- Has the ability to take initiative, be responsible, and has a strong work ethic.
- Wants to build a career in the hospitality sector.

Programme Fees
The program is fully funded by Nafis and our industry partners. Eligible trainees who meet the required criteria also receive Nafis benefits. Nafis support is subject to the candidate's eligibility, based on the relevant Nafis criteria and requirements.
