The Education Studies program is designed to explore and understand the broader context of education and its link to social change.

Degrees

• Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies The Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies explores the broader context of education and its link to social change, and the role individuals can play in making change possible.
• Bachelor of Arts / Master of Arts in Education Studies / Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy The dual degree in Education Studies and Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy prepares students for a career in education equity and leadership.
• Master of Arts in Specialized Studies in Education The Master of Arts in Specialized Studies in Education is designed for individuals interested in studying education without obtaining initial teacher certification credentials.

Minors

• Minor in Data and Education The Data and Education minor teaches students how data-driven solutions and applications can improve education practices, policy making, and implementation.
• Minor in Global and Urban Education Studies The Global and Urban Education Studies minor provides a deeper understanding of critical social, cultural, economic, political, legal, and policy issues in education.
• Minor in Peace and Conflict Studies The Peace and Conflict Studies minor gives students the tools to better understand the world, analyze global conflicts, and contribute to global peace efforts.
