Contents
This course is suitable for students with a minor in Media Informatics (Bachelor major). It is a special offer for the minor subject students of media informatics in the first semester. The course will start with the programming language "Processing", which is specially designed for designers, and will only later move on to the Java language in order to teach basic object-oriented programming skills.
Admission Criteria
Only students with a minor (majoring in Art and Multimedia or Pedagogy) and students of the Industrial Design programme are admitted to the course. Students of the programme "Media, Management and digital Technologies" can also attend this course to make up for imposed ECTS points in this area.
Lecture and Exercise
- The lecture will develop the game "Pong" as a practical project, offering room for creative ideas and own solutions.
- The exercises are particularly practice-oriented, take place directly on the computer, and provide support in mastering the exercises.
