Vorlesung Augmented Reality
The Augmented Reality lecture is a comprehensive course that explores the principles and applications of augmented reality technology.
Termin und Ort
The lecture takes place on Fridays from 12:00-14:00 c.t. in room 105, Amalienstr. 17. The exercise sessions are held on Mondays from 16:00-18:00 c.t. in the same location. Please note that the exercise sessions begin in the second week of the semester.
Inhalt
The course provides an in-depth introduction to the fundamentals of augmented reality, including tracking technologies, computer graphics, and system aspects. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the possible applications and limitations of augmented reality.
Einbindung in das Studium
This course is designed for students in the Medieninformatik or Informatik programs. Prior knowledge of Medieninformatik or Informatik is expected, and students should have completed their Vordiplom in one of these fields.

Please note that the lecture on February 2, 2007, is cancelled due to a business trip by Prof. Butz. Additionally, the lecture on December 1, 2006, is also cancelled for the same reason.
