Introduction to the Kelley School of Business and Purdue University Program

The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and Purdue University offer a dual degree program, combining the resources and strengths of two world-class schools. This program consists of a partner MBA from Kelley and an MS in Agricultural Economics, Food, and Agribusiness Management option from Purdue University Center for Food and Agricultural Business.


Program Description

This innovative dual degree program is aimed at developing the managerial abilities of future leaders in the food and agricultural industries. The use of distance education technology allows potential students to complete two advanced degrees while maintaining ongoing responsibilities within their respective organizations.


Online MBA Structure

The Kelley online MBA program will:


  • Total 36 credit hours (in addition to Purdue coursework)
  • Have a flexible completion timeline from 2-3 years
  • Consist of approximately 6 credit hours per quarter
  • Include live-virtual sessions, typically once a week in the evenings per course

Application Deadlines and Requirements

  • Application deadlines: June 15 for fall
  • Test scores: No GMAT or GRE are required

Program Delivery

The program is about 85% online and includes five one-week residency sessions:


  • Two at Purdue
  • Two at the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana
  • One at a Purdue foreign partner institution

Residencies

Residencies are an essential part of this program, providing face-to-face lecture time, detailed question and answer sessions, and time for networking. The Kelley School of Business residency sessions provide two 1.5 credit courses: Leading Change and Topics in Business Analysis.
