Introduction to Early Childhood Education Program

The Early Childhood Education program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of early childhood development. In 2013, the Indiana legislature required state colleges and universities to establish a Statewide Transfer General Education Core of at least 30 credit hours. This core is part of the Transfer Single Articulation Pathways (TSAP) which allow students to fully transfer certain associate degrees as the first two years of instruction toward a companion bachelor's degree.

The TSAP program guarantees that students who have completed a TSAP associate degree from an Indiana two-year college (Ivy Tech or Vincennes) can finish their degree on time within two years of full-time study. This program allows for seamless transfer of credits, enabling students to complete their bachelor's degree in a timely manner.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students who have completed a TSAP associate degree from an Indiana two-year college are eligible to continue in the companion TSAP bachelor's degree program.
• While not required, the TSAP program provides a guaranteed pathway for students to complete their degree within two years of full-time study.
