Program Overview
The BSc Biomedical Science program, accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), offers students the opportunity to apply for highly competitive placements within the National Health Service (NHS). This program is ideal for those pursuing a career as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS.
Program Structure
Students on this program are eligible to apply for NHS placements following the completion of their second year of studies. The placement lasts until the end of August the following year. During this time, students will complete a portfolio that is examined by the IBMS.
