Nutrition Education Program

The Nutrition Education program offers various services and activities to promote healthy eating and wellness among students.


Program Description

The program includes Wellness Coaching sessions, which are available to students. Additionally, students can participate in the FreshU Cooking Class, a hands-on cooking experience where students are divided into cooking stations and prepare a dish using provided tools and ingredients.


FreshU Cooking Class

The FreshU Cooking Class is designed to provide students with a practical cooking experience. Key features of the class include:


  • Students are broken up into cooking stations, each containing all the necessary tools and ingredients to complete the dish.
  • Hands-on experiences allow students to learn and practice techniques that can be applied later.
  • Students get to taste the dish and take the recipe card home.

Registration

  • Registration is required for the FreshU Cooking Class.
  • Space is limited, and registration opens for each month's classes at the beginning of the month.
  • Students with food allergies or restrictions are accommodated, and this information is collected during the registration process.
