M.D./Ph.D. Program

The College of Medicine offers an integrated M.D./Ph.D. curriculum that enables students to fulfill all requirements and earn the Doctor of Medicine and the Doctor of Philosophy in as few as six years.

Program Structure

Students in the integrated M.D./Ph.D. track in Biomedical Sciences must be accepted in the College of Medicine M.D. program and begin working on their Ph.D. research project during the first two years of medical school.

Admission Requirements

Students interested in pursuing a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree must apply and be accepted into the medical school and the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. program.

Program Details
