Introduction to Computational Engineering

The Aalto Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology offers a major in Computational Engineering, which focuses on developing and applying advanced simulation techniques to analyze complex physical problems. This program is designed for students who are interested in using mathematical and computational models to understand and predict the behavior of physical systems.


Program Description

The Computational Engineering major is a multidisciplinary field that combines mathematics, technical principles, and computing. Students will develop their skills in:

The Bachelor's degree (180 credits) consists of basic studies in the program (65 credits), major studies in Computational Engineering (65 credits), minor studies (20-25 credits), and elective studies (25-30 credits). The Master's degree (120 credits) can be completed in two years after the Bachelor's degree.
