Erasmus Programme
The Erasmus programme is a central element in Aalto University's strategy, promoting international teaching and studying. Internationalisation of education is about integrating a global dimension in curricula and teaching/learning processes. The aim is to educate globally competent graduates.
Funding of International Mobility

- Student Mobility for Training: Students can complete an internship abroad and apply for Erasmus+ funding (max. 4 months).
- Staff Mobility for Training: Administrative staff can benefit from work shadowing and benchmarking at a partner university.
- Staff Mobility for Teaching: Research and teaching staff can learn from experts at a foreign university and exchange ideas with colleagues abroad.
- Blended Intensive Programmes: Short courses that combine virtual and physical learning components for students and staff (5-30 days).
