Qualification Requirements and Regulations
For the award of the MSc Degree in Primary Health Care, postgraduate students are obliged to complete successfully the modules of the four semesters corresponding to 120 ECTS.
Postgraduate Programme Structure
- Postgraduate students are obliged to attend and successfully complete the assessments of 9 modules, distributed as follows:
- First semester: 3 modules (30 ECTS)
- Second semester: 3 modules (30 ECTS)
- Third semester: 3 modules (30 ECTS)

Aim of the MSc Programme
The aim of the MSc Programme in Primary Health Care is the delivery of specialized knowledge and the promotion of research activity in the scientific fields of Primary Health Care, based on an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to health at a population level.
Scientific Area
The scientific area of the MSc covers all issues related to the health and healthcare needs assessment of the population and the policy responses to these needs.
Subjects Included
The specific subjects of the MSc include:
- Analysis of the factors that determine the level of health of the population
- Provision of specialized knowledge in the subjects of epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion, and prevention strategy
