Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have completed a Master's degree from a recognized institution, such as EPFL or UNIL, in a relevant field, including:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Life Sciences
• Biology
• Geosciences and Environment, with a specialization in Geography

Program Structure

The program is a joint initiative between EPFL and HEP-VD, aiming to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach mathematics and computer science at the secondary level II. The program includes:

• Master in Mathematics with a specialization in teaching
• Master in Computer Science with a specialization in teaching

Program Details

The Master in Mathematics with a specialization in teaching is a joint program between EPFL and HEP-VD, designed to prepare students for teaching mathematics at the secondary level II. Similarly, the Master in Computer Science with a specialization in teaching is also a joint program, focusing on preparing students for teaching computer science at the secondary level II.

Equivalence of Titles and Special Conditions

The program adheres to the guidelines set by the HEP of the canton of Vaud, including Directive 05.02, which outlines the conditions for admission, content, principles, and duration of the program, as well as the equivalence of titles and special conditions related to the teaching disciplines.
