Maîtrise Universitaire en Science Politique
The Maîtrise universitaire en science politique is a cycle of formation and specialization aiming at the acquisition of analysis and research skills transferable to a wide range of professional environments. It allows specialization in areas such as globalization, political action, or international history.
Presentation
This formation stands out from traditional academic approaches to address politics in its various dimensions - local, national, international, economic, social, civic - but always in relation to the reality of the contemporary world. It is distinguished by a study plan that is both specialized and personalized according to interests, as well as innovative pedagogical formats.
Orientations ŕ Choix
- Mondialisation: This orientation is designed for those who wish to work within public and private organizations whose mandate is to respond to the challenges of globalization. It offers a unique opportunity in the French-speaking world to extend expertise in global political economy, a field of study of international relations articulating the national and the transnational, dedicated to the analysis of power relations between the political and the economic.
- Action Politique: du Local au Global: This orientation offers a unique opportunity to deepen expertise on phenomena at the junction of the local and the transnational, in democratic and authoritarian contexts. It focuses on public action, interest groups and elites, social movements, and revolutions.
- Histoire Internationale: This orientation is centered on the major issues of contemporary international history. It aims to decipher historical processes and mechanisms of collective memory construction to better understand contemporary political, social, economic, or cultural issues.
