Program Overview
The Capacitťs en Mťdecine program is a 2-year course designed to provide general practitioners with the specific knowledge required to care for elderly patients. The program is divided into theoretical and practical components, with a focus on gerontology, gerontopsychiatry, and social gerontology.
Program Structure
- The program consists of 6 units of value, with 3 units per year.

Admission Criteria
- To be eligible for the program, applicants must hold a medical degree (DES) and have completed their thesis.
- Non-graduated students must provide an attestation from their university indicating the date of validation of their 3rd cycle and the date of their thesis defense.
- Admission is subject to passing a probationary exam, which includes written and oral tests.
Tuition Fees
- The tuition fee for the entire year is 900.
- For students repeating a year, the fee is also 900.
- For students taking the probationary exam, the fee is 600, with an additional 300 to be paid after passing the exam.
Evaluation Methods
- The final exam consists of three case-based questions and one written question.
- The pass mark is 40/80, with each question worth 20 points.
- A score below 5/20 on any question is eliminatory.
