Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Genomics
The Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Genomics is a postgraduate program offered by QUT, providing students with the knowledge and skills to work in the field of diagnostic genomics. This program is the first and only graduate diploma in diagnostic genomics in Australasia.

The program is delivered online and can be completed in 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time. It is not available to Australian government student visa holders.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a recognized bachelor's degree in engineering, health, information technology, or science, or a recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of two years of full-time graduate professional work experience in genomics.
English Language Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum English language requirements, which include an overall score of 6.5 in the IELTS Academic test, with a minimum score of 6.0 in each band.
Fees
The tuition fees for the program are $32,300 per year full-time (96 credit points) for 2026, and $30,000 per year full-time (96 credit points) for 2025.

Graduates of the program will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in the field of diagnostic genomics, and will be eligible to apply for professional accreditation as a diagnostic genomic scientist.
