Introduction to the Erasmus+ Program
The Erasmus+ program offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience by undertaking a traineeship in a company, organization, university, research institute, laboratory, or any other relevant workplace in Europe. This experience can be a valuable addition to their academic studies, providing them with skills and knowledge that can enhance their employability.
Objectives of the Traineeship
The objectives of the traineeship are:
- To acquire professional experience
- To develop transversal skills (such as communication, language, critical thinking, problem-solving, intercultural, and research skills)
- To develop and acquire digital skills
- To facilitate personal development (such as adaptability, self-confidence, and independence)
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible participants include:

- Recent graduates who were selected while still enrolled as students and must complete their traineeship within one year after their graduation
Duration of the Traineeship
The minimum duration of the traineeship is 2 months, and the maximum duration is 12 months for each cycle of studies. For students enrolled in undergraduate programs with a compulsory duration of more than 4 years (e.g., Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Music Studies), the maximum duration can be up to 24 months.
Host Organizations
Eligible host organizations can be any public or private organization active in the labor market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research, and innovation. This includes:
