The program contributes to the enhancement of English postgraduate studies in Greek universities, with the primary goal of promoting the Department and the University internationally. It seeks to develop specialized educational, research, and scientific personnel with high-level training to staff education at all levels, particularly in tertiary education, and to strengthen research and scientific centers with renowned young researchers.

These titles are awarded by the Department of English Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Program Evaluation

The Postgraduate Program is evaluated within the framework of the periodic evaluation/certification of the Department organized by the National Authority for Higher Education (....). This evaluation assesses the overall work done by each Postgraduate Program, the degree of achievement of the objectives set at its establishment, its viability, the absorption of its graduates into the job market, its contribution to research, the internal evaluation by postgraduate students, the feasibility of continuing its operation, as well as other elements related to the quality of the work produced and its contribution to the national strategy for higher education.
