PSYCHOLOGY FIELD PLACEMENT
Overview
The Psychology Field Placement is a supervised field placement in an organisation or agency with relevance to applying psychology-related knowledge and skills. Students will have the opportunity to observe and engage in activities that assist in learning about how professionals in related fields work and apply skills. The placement focuses on learning, and students will reflect on professional, organisational, and ethical issues relevant to the workplace setting, as well as career skills obtained during the placement.

Enrolment Rules
- Special Conditions: There is a limited number of places available for this subject due to the need for students to have successfully obtained a placement at a fieldwork location approved by the Subject Coordinator
- Requirements for Placement: Students will need to be accepted into a placement and fulfill the requirements of the specific placement; this process normally involves submitting an application and completing an interview at the placement site
- Police Check and Other Requirements: Current Police Check and, where indicated, a current and valid driver's licence and Working With Children Check are required
