Advanced Training Course

Introduction

The Advanced Training Course "The Container Supply Chain" is activated by the Department of Economics in cooperation with C.I.S.Co. - Centro Italiano Studi Container.

Objectives and Contents

The course is designed to respond to the growing demand for professionals in the logistics and maritime transport sector, a strategic sector for the national and Ligurian economy. The course aims to provide essential specialisation that is immediately spendable in the labour market, focusing on:

• Port terminal and container management
• Intermodal logistics (combination of different modes of transport: sea, rail, road)
• Customs regulations and international contracts
• Legal, economic and safety & security aspects of transport

Target Audience

The course is addressed to:

• Professionals and operators in the sector: to update and deepen their skills, also by enrolling in individual parts of the course
• Graduates, Bachelor's and Master's graduates in all disciplines interested in working in the sector

The application deadline is 16 February 2026.
