Internationale Executive Master Finance en Control (EMFC)
Program Description
The Internationale Executive Master Finance en Control (iEMFC) is a part-time program designed for working professionals in international finance and control. This two-and-a-half-year program is taught during six seminars around the world to provide a better balance between work and study and to facilitate participation by professionals living in all parts of the world.
Program Objectives
The iEMFC program is designed with a strategic orientation, meaning that each program component includes strategic issues that better prepare students for leadership positions. Admission to the program is selective, ensuring that students interact with other talented professionals who are often explicitly nominated by their employers for participation.
Program Benefits
During the iEMFC program, students develop not only knowledge and skills but also international accessibility and understanding. From the first day, students are challenged with different perspectives and experiences through interaction with colleagues and students from around the world. The program's global outlook is strengthened by these interactions and by the extensive visits to Maastricht and other cities.
Program Outcomes
After graduating, students receive two master's degrees: the Dutch Registered Controller (RC) and the international Executive Master of Finance and Control (EMFC). The program is the only one of its kind in the Netherlands. Additionally, students have the opportunity to take the CIMA exams with limited additional study.
