The Formation of industrial tribunal advisors (employee college) is a program designed for industrial tribunal advisors from the employee college and, subject to availability, defense syndicales and members of staff representative bodies.

The program is held at the Institut Régional du Travail or in distance learning format.
Presentation
The formations provided by the Institut Régional du Travail of Aix-Marseille Université aim to consolidate and update the knowledge of advisors during their mandate. Throughout the year, the IRT organizes several training days for industrial tribunal advisors, led by teacher-researchers and professionals in labor law.
Objectives
The program objectives include acquiring and deepening legal notions to settle disputes while respecting equity rules, which is essential for exercising jurisdictional functions.

- Master legal documentation: methodology (February 12-13)
- Legal news on paid leave (March 5, morning)
- Resignation and presumption of resignation (April 9, morning)
- Collective work agreements and conventions: interpretation and articulation by the judge (April 29-30)
- The personal life of the employee: a source of dispute (May 21, morning)
- Conciliation and Orientation Office (BCO): successfully complete the conciliation phase (June 3-4)
- From the guiding principles of the trial to the drafting of the judgment (June 16-18)
- Employee freedom of expression and its limits (June 25, morning)
Pedagogical Responsibilities
The program is led by:
- Claire Morin, Teacher-researcher in social law at Aix-Marseille University
- Caroline Vanuls, Teacher-researcher in labor law at Aix-Marseille University
Request for Absence Authorization
Participants must request authorization for absence from their employer at least 15 days before the start of the program.
Expenses
Travel Expenses
- Reimbursement of travel expenses upon presentation of receipts (train/bus tickets, toll tickets)
- Only one round trip is covered for 1 to 3-day stages
- Two round trips are covered for 4 to 5-day stages
Meal Expenses
- Welcome coffee is provided
- Lunches are covered by the IRT
- Dinner expenses are reimbursed for multi-day training, up to 20 € per meal per person, upon presentation of original receipts
Accommodation Expenses
For participants living more than 50 km from the IRT in Marseille, accommodation may be covered in a partner hotel, subject to request during registration.
