M2 Management et Commerce International | Parcours Management International de l'Hospitalité (MIH)

The Management International de l'Hospitalité (MIH) program is part of the Master's degree in Management and International Commerce. This program prepares students for management positions in international hospitality establishments.


Objectives

The MIH program aims to provide students with the necessary skills to manage international hospitality establishments. The program covers various aspects of hospitality management, including:


  • Hotel management
  • Development and optimization of international tourist accommodation products
  • Promotion of receptive tourism in accommodation institutions
  • Market research, marketing, and monitoring of demand evolution
  • International communication of hospitality services

The program enables students to acquire administrative, financial, and human resource management skills for international hospitality establishments. Emphasis is placed on market research, communication, and marketing techniques to optimize the commercial function of these establishments and monitor market trends.


Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:


  • Master basic management techniques for international hospitality establishments
  • Analyze the international business environment and evaluate its commercial or strategic positioning
  • Define development prospects for companies and products internationally, particularly based on the evolution of international customer needs
  • Practice intercultural management of employee and management teams, including conflict resolution
  • Define international communication policies, establish support systems, and organize information systems

Admission

Who Can Apply?

Students who have completed the first year of a Master's program (60 ECTS) with good analytical and expression skills, a solid understanding of management and business fundamentals, and proficiency in two foreign languages.


How to Apply?

Applications are submitted through a dedicated platform. A certificate of English proficiency (TOIEC, TOEFL, etc.) is required, along with other documents.


Practical Information

  • The internship lasts from 3 to 6 months and starts at the end of March.
  • Students work on a project to develop an international hospitality structure, defined with their tutor and validated by the pedagogical manager.
  • Volume of Teaching:
    • Lectures: 483 hours
    • Directed work: 207 hours
    • Internship: 20 weeks
  • Pedagogical Team:
    • The teaching team consists of recognized specialists in their field, contributing to the quality of education through rigorous, curious, and critical approaches.
  • Accessibility:
    • The program is available in initial training, continuing education, and apprenticeship formats.
