Introduction to the Licence SEF - EAEP Program
The Licence SEF - EAEP program is a joint initiative between the Faculty of Arts, Letters, Languages, and Human Sciences (ALLSH) and the Inspť d'Aix-Marseille. This program is designed for students who aspire to become primary school teachers, providing them with a comprehensive education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
Program Description
The Licence SEF - EAEP program is a progressive, multidisciplinary, and diversified course that allows students to develop their skills and knowledge over the course of three years. The program is structured around a common core of education and training, with a focus on the development of professional competencies.
Tronc Commun
The common core of the program includes:
- Methodology of research in education and training
- Specialist languages for other disciplines (English)
- Digital tools
- Methodology of university work
- Professional project and orientation
L1, L2, and L3
The program is divided into three levels:
- L1: Analysis of intervention in school, educational policies, psychology, and sociology
- L2: Inclusive education, student educational pathways, foreign education systems, learning and evaluation, didactics, social engagement, and sustainable development
- L3: Learning and pedagogical engineering, project approach, tools for analyzing practices, and professional gestures of teachers in primary schools
Consolidation and Specialization
The program also includes consolidation and specialization courses for teaching in primary schools, such as:
- Mathematics for primary school teaching
- French for primary school teaching
- Interdisciplinary approaches to teaching
Stages
The program includes mandatory internships in L1, L2, and L3, which provide students with direct contact with teaching practices in diverse professional contexts. The internships are:
- 30 hours per semester in L1
- 40 hours per semester in L2
- 48 hours per semester in L3
Students also have the opportunity to complete internships abroad or participate in a semester-long study mobility program.
