The MASNI is a specialized Master's program in international and intercultural negotiation. It aims to train high-potential executives in the field of intercultural relations.
Objectives
The program focuses on developing students' knowledge and skills in international and intercultural negotiation, with an emphasis on understanding different cultures and their impact on global relations.
Public Targeted
The program is open to all students holding a Bachelor's degree in Letters, Human Sciences, or equivalent, within the limit of available places. Possible registration regimes include:
- Initial training (FI)
- Alternating training (FA): professionalization contract and apprenticeship contract
- Continuing education (FC)
Admission Conditions
Admission to the MASNI is subject to selection in both the first and second years.
- For Master 1, applications are made on the national MonMaster platform.
- For Master 2, applications are made on the Ecandidat platform.
Required Prerequisites
- For a Master 1 application: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, knowledge related to the specialties of the course, and motivation (study project, professional project). A good level of English (C1, certification less than two years old) is required.
- For a Master 2 application: Master 1 or equivalent, knowledge related to the specialties of the course, and motivation (study project, professional project). A good level of English (C1, certification less than two years old) is required.
Structure and Organization
The program is divided into two years:
- Master 1:
- Semestre 1 (30 ECTS): Acquiring multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of international relations, acquiring specialized knowledge, and acquiring transversal and linguistic skills.
- Semestre 2 (30 ECTS): Acquiring multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of international relations, acquiring specialized knowledge, and acquiring transversal and linguistic skills.
- Master 2:
- Semestre 3 (30 ECTS): Reinforcing multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of international relations, reinforcing professional skills related to the targeted jobs, and reinforcing transversal and linguistic skills. Alternatively, students can participate in optional mobility in the cultural areas of the MASNI.
- Semestre 4 (30 ECTS): Reinforcing professional skills (internship and thesis).
Knowledge to be Acquired
The MASNI covers most of the knowledge areas used in the field of international issues, including:
- Multidisciplinary knowledge (history, geography/geopolitics, international law, civilization, foreign languages) that provides a general international culture.
- Technical and specialized knowledge aimed at acquiring expertise in international negotiation, intercultural and behavioral skills, and developing intercultural sensitivity.

The program aims to develop the following skills:

Internships and Supervised Projects
- Internships and alternating training in MASNI: non-obligatory but highly recommended in M1, obligatory in M2 (minimum 4 months), in France or internationally.
- The realization of projects is at the center of the MASNI's pedagogical device and methods. The objective is to transmit to students the practices in use in the professional world while making them integrate a production logic.
Pedagogical Modalities
The teachings with academic content can take the form of lectures but most often place the student in a position of actor in their learning. Examples of pedagogical modalities used at MASNI include:

- The socio-economic world: strong links exist with the regional and international socio-economic world through the participation of professional speakers.
- Training organizations: the MASNI is in direct contact with Formasup Méditerranée, the CFA (Center for Apprentice Training) of the universities and public schools of the SUD region.
- Research: the MASNI maintains strong links with its support laboratories through the involvement of teacher-researchers and researchers in training and for the supervision of students.

Help for Success
In Master 1, students are personally followed by the training managers: help with choosing mobility according to the student's curriculum and university and professional project, organization of Alumni meetings, conferences, and study days. In Master 2, the training offers a tutorship of students by the teaching team.
Help for Orientation
The SUIO (University Service for Insertion and Orientation) offers MASNI students support throughout the two years of the curriculum: deciphering internship and job offers, simulation of recruitment interviews, help with writing CVs and cover letters.
Help for Further Studies and Professional Integration
The MASNI keeps up-to-date dashboards related to the professional integration of its students. These allow, in particular, helping students find their internships or alternations, creating a professional network, measuring the employability of graduates, and following the professional paths of graduates.
Studies Abroad
The MASNI has a natural opening to the international, central in the training curriculum. Many partnerships with higher education institutions are established to promote student mobility. The MASNI offers its students the possibility of spending a semester of study abroad in the third semester (M2) in a partner university.
