Program Overview

The EC Mťthodologie recherche-crťation et recherche-action 1 program is designed to introduce students to various methodologies of research-creation and action research through their history and current practices.

Course Content

This program consists of two lectures that aim to sensitize students to the different methodologies of research-creation and action research. The course is a seminar common to all Master Arts students and takes a multidisciplinary approach to the epistemological and methodological issues of research-creation and action research.

Skills to be Acquired

The program aims to help students:

• Understand the epistemological issues
• Analyze research methodologies
• Move beyond their disciplinary field, opening up to interdisciplinarity and/or extradisciplinarity
• Take ownership of proposed methodologies, articulate them with their own research/work, and extend them
• Demonstrate a critical and reflective spirit
