For the Start of Your Studies - Master Civil Engineering

You are starting the Master's degree program in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the winter semester 2024/25. Here you will find an overview of the most important information for the start of your studies.

Application and Enrollment

The program is free of admission, but an application is still required.

In order to enroll, you must attend the mandatory master's consultation interview.

Ersti-Week | The Program

All first-year students in the Master's program in Civil Engineering are cordially invited to participate in the Bachelor's Ersti-Week program.

Your First Moodle Courses

Moodle is the digital learning platform where you can access information as well as work materials for your studies via virtual course rooms. You should register for the following moodle courses:

• Info-Kurs BI&UI, the general information channel of the Faculty B+U
  • Fachschaft Bauingenieurwesen
  • Bauing Erstis 2024/2025 (WiSe24/25)

RUBCard - Student ID

You will receive your student ID card, the all-rounder, when you enroll at the Student Office. With this card, you can pay in the cafeteria, borrow books from the university library, or load credit for printing, for example.

RUB Online Tools

You will need to use various RUB online tools for your studies, including RUB Wi-Fi and RUBMail, FlexNow, and eCampus, where you can print your semester ticket or change your address.

Your Schedule

You can access and download your course schedule for the first semester as well as for the upcoming semesters online via the "Downloads" menu item on the faculty's homepage.
