Maritime Systems Unit (JEE256)
Introduction
Maritime Systems aims to develop students' understanding of the key systems on board maritime platforms. Students will learn to explain, predict performance, and select components for integrated systems including powering systems, hydraulic systems, instrumentation and control systems, and emerging power sources such as fuel cells and alternative fuels. The knowledge gained in this unit will be applied to more complex maritime systems throughout the degree.
