Women's Studies at UCC
The MA in Women's Studies is an interdisciplinary programme, with students gaining insights from academics across the College of Arts Celtic Studies and Social Sciences as well as from the College of Business and Law. Students develop a grounding in feminist theory and research while also examining gender and society through a multidisciplinary lens. Staff from over ten different academic departments contribute to the MA, allowing each student to develop a unique MA experience. The programme is tailored to suit each student's specific area of academic interest and educational background. Proposals are also welcome from students interested in working with a supervisor to develop a PhD project in the broad area of Women's Studies.
