نظرة عامة على البرنامج
Educatieve Master in de Maatschappijwetenschappen: Rechten
The Educatieve Master in de Maatschappijwetenschappen: Rechten is a program designed for individuals who wish to become well-prepared teachers for law subjects. This master's program provides students with the opportunity to deepen their legal knowledge and insights while establishing a connection to teaching.
Program Structure
The teacher training program consists of 60 credits, with 45 credits allocated to the educatieve master and the remaining 15 credits taken during the bachelor's program or as a preparatory program in addition to the bachelor's or master's program.
Verder Verdiepen in Rechten
In this educatieve master, students follow all compulsory legal training components from the non-educatieve master in law, including deontology. This is supplemented with one in-depth study and one specialized study, where students can opt for subjects such as civil law, tax law, international and European law, business law, public law, or social law. These in-depth studies aim to deepen students' basic legal knowledge and teach them to work autonomously and creatively with the law. The specialized studies are training components that follow a core training component, with a part concerning specific legal content and a part where this is applied in a specific subfield of law.
Leraar Worden
The teaching component of the program alternates between practice and theory. Each practical experience serves as a basis for theory, and the theory provides a springboard for the next practical moment. Theory is provided, among other things, in the form of subject didactics, which means students learn to teach in their subject area. The practical part consists of practice lessons and three different stages.
Masterproef
In the master's thesis, students combine their legal expertise and teacher training. They can conduct scientific research in the domain of education law or choose to do legal research that they later translate into a didactic application, or opt for a subject-didactic research in law.
