Program Overview
The Center for Advanced Global Leadership and Engagement (CAGLE) at Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business offers a study abroad program in Japan. The program takes place from March 14-22, 2026, and provides students with the opportunity to explore the impact of businesses that drive the Japanese economy, including logistics, food, technology, and more.

The Basics
- Instructor: Lisa Slevitch, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management
- Travel Dates: March 14-22, 2026
- Application Fee: $50 (to be applied to program fees)
- Program Fee: $3,650 total travel cost + $200 Study Abroad Admin Fee + Airfare
- Course Options: 3 credit hours from one of the following: BADM 4093(G), BADM 4050, BADM 5093, BADM 5200, HTM 4053(G)
- On Campus Meeting Dates:
- Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 - 1:30 p.m. (Orientation)
- Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 - 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026 - 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 11, 2026 - 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, April 2, 2026 - 5:30 p.m.

Airfare
- It is the student's responsibility to purchase their own ticket.
- CAGLE could assist in organizing air travel.
- All accepted students will receive the faculty and/or staff's flight information as soon as the faculty's flight is booked.
- It is suggested that students do not book their flight until they receive this information so they can arrive with or around the same time as the faculty and staff for transportation reasons.
- For this program, students should fly into Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) and out of Osaka Itami International Airport (ITM).
- If students choose to arrive before the program start date or leave after the program end date, they will be on their own for transportation to and from the airport, as well as for additional accommodation arrangements and costs.

The CAGLE reserves the right to modify or cancel any study abroad program at any time, before or during travel, if circumstances arise that pose a risk to the health, safety, or well-being of participants. This includes, but is not limited to, global or regional health concerns, political instability, natural disasters, or insufficient enrollment.
Refund Policy
- ALL PAYMENTS INCLUDING APPLICATION FEE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
- A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE Application fee will be charged to the student's bursar once the application has been submitted.
- Installment amounts and tuition fees will be charged to the student's bursar account as reflected on the payment schedule. If the student withdraws from the program for any reason, the installments WILL NOT BE REFUNDED once the listed dates have passed.
