Program Overview

The Dunong Project is a collaborative effort between the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines and the University of the Philippines Los Ba˝os (UPLB) to provide educational support to children affected by poverty. This project aims to promote learning and development among these children through various educational activities conducted by UPLB student volunteers.

Program Details

• The program is scheduled to take place in February and March.
• It will focus on the theme "Reading Enhancement and Appreciation Development (READ)" for approximately one week.
• In addition to the Dunong Project activities, participants will also have the opportunity to visit local universities and engage in cultural exchange activities with students from the University of Tsukuba and UPLB.
• The program is open to students who sympathize with the purpose and significance of the Dunong Project and are eager to participate as volunteer students.
